Ngati Whare Structure

Ngati Whare iwi is presently represented through Te Runanga o Ngati Whare Iwi Trust, a common law trust established by the iwi in 1999. This website is the official website of Te Runanga o Ngati Whare Iwi Trust.

There are, however, a number of other Ngati Whare entities, notably the Ngati Whare Trust and Te Whaiti Nui a Toi Trust, which serve more specific purposes and beneficiaries. The Ngati Whare marae are also run through their own marae committee.
